New research from UK pet insurance provider, Petgevity, reveals the top 50 dream bucket list items for all pets to complete before they’re twenty, as voted for by the nation’s animal owners.

Unsurprisingly, 9 in 10 of Brits believe that spending time with their pet improves their own wellbeing and happiness with 38% admitting they enjoy spending time with their pet more than anyone else in their household. Yet, nearly half of us (43%) admit to spending less than 30 minutes a day bonding and having fun with our cuddliest family members.

When asked why, excuses included work commitments (64%), family or childcare (31%), poor weather (25%) and a mind-boggling 16% of people said they spent too much time on social media.
