At Petgevity, we’re doing everything we can to make our website as accessible, easy to navigate, and user-friendly as possible.

What we’re doing

To help you navigate our website, we’ve taken steps to improve its user-friendliness. These include:

  1. having a consistent main menu navigation
  2. giving every section a heading, which helps screen readers navigate easily
  3. using clear, high-contrast colours to make sure the text stands out and is easy to read
  4. working on improving the alt-text (text that describes an image) to improve clarity
  5. making sure all our content is in plain English and avoids jargon wherever possible. When complex terms are necessary, we explain them in a way everyone can understand
  6. using the latest features. Although that means some parts may not work properly on older browsers, it’s a good idea to keep your browser up to date. This will improve your experience and helps keep you safe online

We always try to conform to the accessibility standards set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These internationally recognised guidelines help make sure that digital content is more usable. They cover key areas such as navigation, language, layout and interaction.

Some older content or third-party pages may not fully meet these standards yet, but we’re actively reviewing and improving them.

Feedback

We continually test and modify our website for accessibility – but there might be some older pages (or third-party pages) that don’t quite meet our standards.

We always welcome your feedback. So if you experience any problems using the Petgevity website, please contact us.
