Petgevity is thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new podcast dedicated to pet wellness. Each fortnight, we translate viral trends into trusted, science-backed insights.
What this means is genuinely useful, practical takeaways for the listener – ie you – and your furry best pal.
Our focus is on cats and dogs – the companions that make up the vast majority of Britain’s beloved pets. We’re not opposed to the occasional episode featuring a llama or guinea pig… But at heart, we’re here for our two furry best friends 🐶🐱
Check out Petgevity: The Podcast at pod.link to listen wherever you normally get your podcasts… Or read on to find out more deets.
Leading the conversation every episode is Fabian Rivers, better known as Dready Vet. Fabian is a vet at an independent practice in Birmingham and a respected voice in the veterinary world. He’s written for a wide range of veterinary, university and mainstream publications.
Many will recognise him from CBBC, where he appeared as one of the show’s vets, or from BBC One’s Britain’s Puppy Boom: Counting the Cost. In 2020, Fabian was awarded BVA Young Vet of the Year.
Put simply: you’re in safe hands.
Each episode will feature a new guest – from leading vets to cat and dog behaviourists: we’re bringing together experts who know their subject and know how to tell a great story. Keeping jargon to a minimum, our focus is on science-backed practical advice and memorable takeaways.
Our mission is simple: to help pet owners understand what really matters for their pets – what can help them live longer, healthier lives, and how to better understand the world from your pet’s perspective.
Tune in for the very first episode of Petgevity: The Podcast, launching today, 26 May, with the episode Does your dog have ADHD? Here we take a deep-dive into neurodiversity in pets.
At Petgevity, we’re dedicated to bringing you podcasts, peace-of-mind pet insurance, and plenty more things beginning with ‘p’.
