The Dangerous Dogs Act was introduced in 1991 following a number of serious attacks on members of the public. The breeds listed above are prohibited in the UK unless the dog is registered on the Index of Exempted Dogs and meets strict legal conditions.
We’re unable to offer insurance for any of these breeds, whether exempted or not.
