Straight after a youthful ballerina phase, Nicole set her sights on becoming a vet – and never looked back. A 2006 Liverpool Graduate, she spent a decade in small animal practice before an adventurous move to Poland with her husband and two kids, followed by COVID, changed the course of her career. Stepping away from clinical work wasn’t planned, but it did open an exciting new door – connecting through the written word. Now, she thrives on transforming the complicated into the comprehensible.
Corinne is originally from Wales and moved to New Zealand after graduating university. She started her career with a university-based equine internship and moved onto mixed and small animal practice. Currently she splits her time between online tele triage and working in an after-hours vet clinic. She has also spent time in the Pacific Islands on desexing campaigns.

By 2018 Lily was leading a busy branch of a large hospital practice with a fantastic team, enjoying working on both surgical and medical cases.
Lizzie graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011, and has been working in first opinion companion animal practice. Lizzie currently works in a small rural practice where she enjoys working in a close-knit community.
Siân was your typical kid who loved animals and science, and so spent most of her teenage years on farms and in kennels to realise her ambition of going to vet school. Graduating from Cambridge in 2011, she has worked in independent small animal general practice ever since. Her passion in veterinary medicine is contextualised care; ensuring the best welfare for pets and their owners by seeing every family for their individual circumstances, knowing that the goal is happy healthy pets at home. Siân is owned by a cat called Xanthe and two small children. She loves yoga, dressmaking, being outdoors and strong female leads in books and film.
